Innately drawn to music, Dan Versman began composing, performing in small venues, and producing private CD’s at a young age. Dan has pursued broad musical interests in an eclectic range of genres from acoustic and electric rock to blues, folk, and classical. He earned a Bachelors Degree in Applied Music from Sonoma State University under the instruction of Will Johnson, Marilyn Thompson, and Eric Cabalo. Now, his rich musical style resonates with true heart, soul and texture.

Dan grew up listening to iconic musicians like Elliott Smith and James Taylor who helped shape his musical identity. Through difficult life experiences Dan has come to realize his life goal -- to inspire others through music and lyrics, just as he has been inspired. He strives to be a positive influence on his listeners, strengthening them in the face of life’s challenges.

Dan has performed 50+ shows each year for the last 5 years across the country. He recently played at the Nomachella Music Festival in Sonoma County and at the Crescent Moon Café in Lincoln, Nebraska. His first two studio albums will be released in April 2016. Currently, Dan Versman is touring across the U.S., playing venues of all varieties.
